Shared playlists

Hello fellow musicians,

I curate several Spotify playlists. I’d love to add your songs to them. They are themed and mood-focused. You can check out what’s currently on the playlists and choose the one that’s closest to your song.

If you’d like to add a song that’s in a completely different mood, select “Other” from the drop-down menu. I’ll email you the result. I’ll listen to the songs and either find the right playlist for them or create one. I build playlists so that each one is about 2 hours long (30-40 songs).

I want to create playlists that I – and hopefully you – will enjoy listening to. That’s why I’ll edit them a bit and if I happen to include a song in some other playlist, I’ll write you an explanation (for example, if someone puts some speed metal in the Soft darkdream playlist, I’ll offer to create a playlist for such a cut, because it probably wouldn’t be ideal among the dreamy songs. 😀

I don’t want any money for it. It’s absolutely free and based on community song sharing. The whole system is designed so that we build the basic listener support for our songs together. That’s the only formal condition for being included in the playlist: Anyone who wants to have a song here must play the entire playlist twice a week. That’s why I try to compose playlists so that the songs have something in common and that we enjoy listening to them (because who else should enjoy our songs if not us). If we all do this, each song will have at least 60-80 plays per week (240-300 per month).

It’s not a miracle, but it’s not zero.

Probably much more – I will spread my project among my listeners and in the social bubble and I will promote this community project.

Bat…  We have a much greater opportunity: Now imagine that if there are 30 bands in that playlist and we all share it in our social bubble, how much that number will grow. Many times.
