For those who don’t know me – Doubting Tomas is my nomen omen. This page is a kind of private music corner for things that you won’t find under other projects.
I’ve been involved in music my whole life, I played in several rock, pop and punk bands, then for some years I played and sang only medieval music – both minnesang and troubadours and trouvères, once Gabriela and I even recorded an attempt to set old song lyrics and spells to music in Gothic, Thuringian, Lombard and other languages that no longer exist. (Today we would do it very differently, but that was 30 years ago.) And today my wife Gabriela and I lead not quite regularly organized courses in medieval singing (mainly liturgical); you can find them on the website choral.cz
I haven’t completely abandoned rock music and you can find our current songs on the website Asheraband.com.
And then there are things that don’t fit in these drawers and I make them for myself – and they are here. Some music, often very colorful and “between styles” in terms of style.
